China at this point is not seeking to challenge US upfront and militarily
simply because of limited capabilities. Even with Russia's help, we won't
have any chance to defeat US. But China is using some tactic or "rightful
resistance" to undermine US hegemony and impose cost upon US by allowing US
to taking lead and responsibilities on solving those headaches.
Israel( and US) will wage war against Iran, but not land invasion. Bomb the
nuclear facilities, computer virus, assassination, ignite the internal
protests or chaos, all means. China will condemn them and call for "
dialogues". The uncertainty lies in how Iran will respond. China and Russia
will advise Iran to calm down and not go to open war with Israel. But it is
still unclear whether Iranian leaders will listen to China and Russia. As
far as Iranian domestic politics is concerned, they don't have guts and
capabilities to prevent US-Israel's covert war as the power struggle and
state-society tension will make those politician not to take any missteps.
in short: Iran's nuclear program will be destroyed or delayed, but no third
world war. |
