印度总理：印度科技水平落后于中国

印度总理辛格对印度科技落后于中国感到担忧并呼吁增加科学研究方面的经费。辛格总
理是在印度99届科技大会上致开幕词时讲这番话的。这次大会是星期二在印度奥里萨邦
的布巴内斯举行的。
辛格说，过去的几十年来，印度在世界科学界的地位日益下降，“我们已被中国等国家
超越。时代在变化，事物也在改变，我们取得了一些成就，但不应沾沾自喜，满足现状
。”
*印度是信息技术中心，中国是产品中心*
一些印度官员认为，技术能力对依靠科学家和工程技术人员来推动经济的一个国家来说
是至关重要的。中国依靠劳动力低廉的生产行业的技术冲在了印度前面，而印度依靠其
软件工程师的技术成为信息技术中心。
这些印度官员还说，印度每年有75万学习工程和自然科学的毕业生，也雄心勃勃地想成
为一个知识中心。
但是，近几年来，印度越来越担心，中国投入越来越多的资金进行科研、发明创造。印
度同中国相比，越来越处于下风。印度人认为，中国不仅想成为世界产品加工厂，更想
成为世界的研发中心。
*中国在美留学生超过印度*
中国在美国的学习工程和科学技术的留学生，其数量超过了印度的留学生。
印度总理辛格希望印度能在发明和创新方面能再领风骚，他呼吁拥有充沛活力的私营企
业能增加对科学发明方面的投资和贡献。辛格说，像通用电器、摩托罗拉这样的跨国公
司在印度建立了世界一流的研发中心，但几乎没有印度公司能取得这样的成就，这无疑
很有讽刺意味。
*印度总理：印度缺乏对科技投资*
印度总理辛格说，印度在科学研究和发展方面的投资和经费，少得可怜而且断断续续，
在这方面的投资和经费，不到印度国民生产总值的1%。他希望国家能增加这方面的投资
和经费到2%。
印度总理辛格说，我经常说到，我们政府要努力推进印度在科学技术方面大大发展。我
们必须保证大幅度增加工业和战略领域的科研经费，促进这些方面的大发展。
在近几年来，印度的公司不断抱怨说，印度的熟练技术工日益短缺。这些公司说，工程
人员和其他工作人员来到工作单位上班，而他们的技术水平，往往参差不齐，无法适应
需求。他们还不断要求提高和改进印度的教育质量。 |

要天然海绵，不能要人造的。国之重器，不能从拿义乌的土造货蒙事

It's ridiculous that PM Singh wants to compare India with Commie China. Why
can't we compare ourselves with US, Canada, Australia, UK or the likes. Why
China ? Afterall, China is a poor and backward country reckoned by all
Indians and a country that only copy and re-engineer other nations's
technology. Is it worth to compare with such a useless nation. We are find
the Chinese cunning, untrustworthy and retarded, why should we not compare
with our allies like USA, in which we have zillions of our citizens working
and helping develop USA. Most of their leaderships are Indians and we should
have fared better to compare what we need to learn from USA and not from
backward, poor and sub-standard nation, China, which is also India's
bitterest enemy who thrashed our nation to shame in 1962 border war. So,
when comparing means learning the better of the other party, we Indians need
to learn from the West and definitely not Asia and in this particular case
by our PM Singh - China. So, in summary, either PM Singh is jealous of China
's rise or that he considers China is more superior than China and that they
are learnings from the comparison. This is totally and utterly nonsense. In
all respects, India is far more advanced than Commie China, who only know
how to dump Indian goods manufactured cheaply in China into Indian markets.
See, our Indian merchants and businessmen outsmart the Chinese by giving
them low costs to produce goods that we Indians cannot manufacture at home.
So, this helps all Indians to use cheaper goods which otherwise India cannot
provide. We make Chinese as slaves of Indians and that's where our pride is
over them. With all these said, India is superpower no. 1 in the world as
proclaimed by President Obama and PM Sarkozy when they came calling in Delhi
in late 2010 and smilingly acknowledged by PM Singh with a nod and thank
you. Yahoo, we are world superpower no. 1, so stop comparing India with
China, PM Singh. |
