Prosecutors said that baggage checking operations led to the discovery of a
fragment of human lower limb.
The owner of the luggage was a Chinese man, Mediafax news agency said.
Several gruesome murders involving Chinese nationals have been reported in
Romania, especially in the 1990s.
In one case, two Chinese men killed a compatriot and boiled his body in an
attempt to make it difficult to identify.
Another Chinese man was killed by several of his countrymen, his body minced
and the remains thrown into the sewage system.
The bodies of four other Chinese were found inside suitcases, two of them in
the back of a car, and two others floating in a lake in Bucharest. |
