can invent the car engine, you must first invent the wheel. Chinese people
can do more than just copy, but when you are so far behind you have to play
catch up first. I don't think anyone ever said anything about American
copying when they basically copied all of the German weapons from WII from
the v2 rocket, to jet technology.

they didnt copy german weapons from wwii. the british were developing jet
engines under frank whittle and the us bought the engine designs. just like
the russians. as for the v-2, the us captured the rockets and the scientists
. they reworked the tech (n.b.: NOT copied), and made the v-2 better with
american designed metallurgy and gyroscopes.
China will never come close to the US or EU because all they
ARE capable of doing is copying.

Copying the exterior does not mean copying the entire system.
Which also involves materials, engine, optics, electronics, software
, ground cockpit, etc etc ...
Anybody with a little experience in, say, remote controlled
airplanes, can verify that.

To All Americans,
To be frank, I am sick and tired of America policing (well, I should have
used the term "bullying" the world). I erupted with joy when that
American Diplomat Christopher Stevens was killed in Libya and many more of
their soldiers bombed in Afghanistan.
Not all of us Asians welcome America pivoting to Asia. Get your arse
out of here!!

The Chinese may not possess the immediate means to cutting edge technology
now. I assure you their engineers will quickly gain the experience to begin
to match 1st world technology. A factory I worked with was producing tools
using 1920's technology in 1990. Today the floor is predominately CNC
machines. Although offices do not have A/C and they do not have Aeron Chairs
and nice furniture, their design offices does have A/C and workstations
running the latest CAD/CAM.

china's every invention is a 80% clone of other. include toys,
machines, cars, dvd, food,.......etc china's biggest problem is copy someone
else' work.

Spoken like someone that does not really know China. The Chinese will
attempt to catch up in every technology and will use whatever knowledge they
can glean from all the manufacturing licensed to Chinese firms over
the years. (Not many libs moving their factories to China. Mostly Fortune
500s - not the real bastion of liberalism). Get over your childish obsession
with lib and con labels and realize the Chinese act in their own self
interests.
