BrotherThird. It is a huge group but I am the only Chinese, others are all
white. I have published several Science, Nature, and Cell papers, but I am
not happy, because I never feel that I belong to the group. Here an example

One night I was catching the white mice from a big cage, and I was
appalled seeing two of them mating. How dare you? We both devote ourselves
to science. You are here having sex while I have to lube myself every night?
Not fair! So I broke them up and took one for dissection.
When I was handling the mice I overheard some moaning over the bench. My
goodness! There was a threesome ongoing in the lab. My jaw was alomst
dropped like Brian seeing Louise' boobs being enlarged by Jesus in Family
Guy. I watched for a while and was quite jealous beacause the two girls are
really hot and that guy was actually stupid. He has never published a paper
- in fact, every time when he did a PCR, I have to be there to help him. I
think he owes me. So I went up there and asked ---
CAN I PLAY?????????????????????????
The jerk coldly said --- NO.
Fortunately he did not order me to leave the lab. As I understand, I
could watch, but not touch.
From then on, almost every week they will perform sex act in the lab.
Sometimes with labcoats on, saying that they are playing doctor and nurses.
I said, wft, you can only play, because with your GPA in chemistry, you will
never be able to get admitted into medical school. After a few months I
couldn't take it anymore, because every time I asked if I could play they
always returned a cold NO.
My boss has thought that I was happy and he was very proud of though
strict on me. One day after presentation in the group meeting, I burst into
tears. After learning my story, my boss said, now are you feeling better? I
know that you Chinese are being discriminated against, but if you speak out,
you will feel better, right?
I nodded hard and smiled. After all, I am an optimistic person. I headed
back to the lab for more scientific work, jumping and dancing. |
