发帖数: 367 | 1 I am driving a SUV (market price of around $50K).
Here are what I have while driving,
(1) A Front RADAR DETECTOR (with RED LIGHT camera alarm), which tells me if
there is police waiting in the front.
(2) A Back RADAR DETECTOR. This device saved me at least once when a cop
chased me from the back.
(3) THE WAZE app, I turns it on while driving, to get cops info.
(4) The GPS came with the SUV, not very good, but it tells me how to find an
alternative route if there is a traffic jam.
(5) A second Garmin GPS, very useful, tells me live traffic, police trap
points, and RED LIGHT camera alarm (you can download Points of Interest to
Garmin).
(6) A portal DVR which I could record if stopped by a cop, or in a traffic
accident.
(7) I alway record the conversation with one of my 2 phones if stopped by a
cop.
(8) I just bought a car DVR which can be put as mirror

I must say every equipment saves me more than what it costs.
And I have not got a ticket for 4~5 years.
But my car was keyed by a guy last year. Had I bought (8) before the event,
I should be able to catch the guy (he was trying to get a parking space
where I parked).
If you do not want to have any headache while driving, it is better to pay
for these before it is too late.
PS. I used to have a golf iron or baseball bat in the car. But I have not
put in the car in recent years. | a*****y
