o**********e 发帖数: 18403 | 1 Houston friends had a great idea of wearing the same t-shirt. I'm thinking
of making a t-shirt for demonstration use:
It should prominently feature china and US flags, and a globe with
bridge crossing pacific. Peace dove is a nice touch.
Slogan could be
China + US = Win + Win
China + US 4 World Peace
Pax China-Americana
It would be a nice/pretty momento for wearing anytime we want and bears out
our values and hopes. It's a good conversation piece too.
Color could be cream color, or dark red, or dark green or bright red. |

o**********e 发帖数: 18403 | 3 Ok, any other slogan is fine too. As long as it's not a one-time focused on
Kimmel slogan. A confrontational boycott Disney slogan would be ok too.
But I tend to like non-confrontational messages on Tshirt/something you
could wear everyday and remind you to participate in the community (which is
the Chinese and/or American community).
I guess to me China is more than a nation. It's a culture, it's a people,
it's (or wants to be or will be) a force in the world for peace and good.
Just like to me, the US is more than a political entity.
How about this then:
Chinese-American Dream 4 Win-Win World
These slogans are designed to counter the blame-China-for-every-US-problem
racism that precipitated Jimmy Kimmel Kill-All-Chinese debacle.
Nothing to do with China the political entity. |

fact Chinglish is celebrated and copied, then we've accomplished our goal. |
o**********e 发帖数: 18403 | 6 Also, it doesn't have to be 1 t-shirt. Could be any number of t-shirts, but
preferably the same background color.
vickistorm 的若想成功,请先自宫, 也可供选择。 哈哈 |

o**********e 发帖数: 18403 | 9 ding. Some people expressed ideas that China's flag should not appear. I
think it's ok, then put a dragon or panda on the China's map of the globe
then. But the message of peace and cooperation is designed to counter
the blame-china rhetoric (Jimmy Kimmel's: government is shutdown, because
we owe china 1.3 trillion dollars, what to do what to do). |
