Let's see. I was in Egypt in November 1993. It snowed. It was 30 degrees or
so in Cairo and did not snow. It was freezing cold in the Sinai and did snow
. This is NOT the first time it has snowed in more than 100 years - for sure
it also snowed in 1993 while I was there. Maybe it is the first time it has
snowed in Egypt in this millennium. Snow in Egypt is one of the fond
memories I have of my trip to Egypt. I can alwayas say I was in Egypt AND it
snowed while I was there.
