发帖数: 38600 | 2 TALLAHASSEE — Republican Sen. Marco Rubio is pushing five Florida
educational institutions to end partnerships with Chinese government-funded
programs that teach the country’s history, language and culture.
Rubio says the programs, known as "Confucius Institutes," are distorting the
teaching of Chinese history.
“There is mounting concern about the Chinese government’s increasingly
aggressive attempts to use 'Confucius Institutes' and other means to
influence foreign academic institutions and critical analysis of China’s
past history and present policies,” he wrote.
The letter urged Miami-Dade College, the University of North Florida, the
University of South Florida, the University of West Florida and Broward
County’s Cypress Bay High School to end the programs. |

anything Chinese in order to score political points. He's nothing more than
a brown nosed racist caucasian wannabe unqualified politician sucking/
licking his way to the top. All his anti-Chinese barking is probably his way
of trying to secure some hush Chinese donation. This guy probably will sell
his mother or his own soul to get ahead. It's precisely these type of self-
interest, unethical politicians that's going to be this country's downfall. |
