While Apple stock plunging this morning and dragging the market and the
Nasdaq lower, there were those (few) analysts and traders who were not
surprised by Tim Cook's "shocking" revenue guidance cut: “Warning flags
were flying,” William Fleckenstein, a Seattle-based money manager who has
shorted Apple for the last three months, told Bloomberg. “You could see the
deterioration in the lack of unit growth over the last couple of years and
the market share loss. It was only the mania that held the thing together
and now that finally blew.” |

1) Trump bans Huawei ZTE from US Sales and tries to extend that through US
NATO Poodles and others, arrests Xi's friend's daughter the CFO.
2) Chinese stop buying Iphone.
What is it that you do not understand? Trade wars are good and easy to win.
LOL. As if this were not enough two days ago Lighthizer said that "new
tariffs" would be necessary get concessions from China. Lighthizer was
afraid that Trump is caving. Lighthizer and Navarro are both liberal
democrats and UNION supporters.
China markets have huge clout. Just ask Tim Cook. Without China, where the
Iphones are made, Apple will go broke. Already a marginal player in the
world of smartphones. Apple has pursued the suicidal mission of proprietary
technology. This works fine if you can keep innovating but Android phones
have long surpassed the Iphone in value and versatility.
Trump has been meddling all year with Apple, Threatening to Tariff Iphones
made in China. Cook blew this off as cheap political talk but the Chinese
listened to every word and realized that in the real world of trade, it is
not the bully with the Tariffs that rules but the world's largest market.
And the Chinese market can be switched off on a dime. Ask the US Farmers who
Trump has destroyed with his tariffs and stupidity over the pacific trade
agreement.
Then there is Lighthizer and Navarro always talking up the aggressive Trade
war while sinking the supply chain and markets every time they open their
stupid mouths. And now through ignorance and patent stupidity, they are
destroying Apple, the largest corporation in America. How stupid, how
utterly Trumpstupid.

competitors like Huawei. Its sitting duck and bereft of any ideas to save
itself.
The only way for it to push back the inevitable is to do stock buybacks
until its $240B cash dry out.

make good stuff but the performance to dollar ratio sucks. They have reached
peak cult status and being "different" ain't gonna cut it anymore. Also,
they had better quit burning their capital on share buy backs and put it
towards development. The business model of a $1000 phone is dead as there
are too many other good offerings on the market. |

Is this the reason why malls and retailers are closing down at a fast pace?
Is it the Chinese fault? The low birth rate is the Chinese fault too? How

What about the massive debt the average American is holding? Is that also

market with a trade war they will say **** you.. we'll buy Chinese..the
apple as an ostentatious accessory is dead. Its an overpriced phone that
does phone calls, sends SMS and email and a few other things .. it's not a
handbag which has far more value. |

inherited a company with a huge cash stash. They have no clue how to run
Apple, but it will take a while to burn through all the cash and resources.
Until that happens, Apple "strategy" is to pray that some users will still
pay outrageous prices, party while the company circles the drain, and blame
China, tariffs, Trump, etc for the demise.

I don't buy apple anything. There is always something by other manufacturers
far better and much lower in price.
Apple lacks common sense. The largest market for their products is for used
apple products and even then the prices are way too high.
Lower the prices on some items and suck up the used market.

5000-6000人民币对中国就是个分界点了。中国手机出货量早停止扩张了
