from giant multi-national corporations responsible for breaking unilateral
rules that are NOT legally binding sets up EVERY US executive for arrest.
US companies break just about every law on the books around the world and
just pay the fine. That may now change. If I were in China as an executive
from a western company, I would come home while I could.

broken no Chinese law. If the US wants to sanction Iran, that's fine under
US law but US law does not apply to other SOVEREIGN States. Although
Washington seems to believe differently.
However, US Executives of US Companies had better watch out because the
kinds of practices that US Companies engage in overseas is illegal under
both local law AND US law, specifically FCPA and Sarbanes-Oxley just for
starters.

Why did Canada arrest and detain her when a grand jury didn't even indict
for another almost 2 months?
There's some very serious issues here, and quite frankly, it looks like the
United States may have sought the fraudulent detention of an unindicted
individual.

to detain an unindicted individual. |

Justin Trudeau for saying the following:
“I think [Huawei CFO Wendy Meng] has quite good arguments on her side. One,
political involvement by comments from Donald Trump in her case,” McCallum
said.
“Two, there’s an extraterritorial aspect to her case," he continued. "And
three, there’s the issue of Iran sanctions in her case and Canada does not
sign on to these. So I think she has some strong arguments she can make
before a judge.”
Before he was abruptly terminated McCallum made two excellent and essential
points. This extradition attempt is fatally flawed. Now let’s see if a
Canadian judge does the right thing. |
