we pretty much know all other school-mates and we all have fun whenever
there's group activities. To me, Tsinghua Alumni Associations in the US are
the most political and hypocritical "student organizations".

This is just one common aspect of a group of people that they can use that
to get together. No need to be excited about either you like it or not.
