自己腰包也不行。不像国内，啥都可以从经费里报销。
不过他们的医疗保险和退休金的确比大多数工司要好。
听人说起过普度大学的退休金是18%，还全是学校出……。私立学校福利很好，公立学
校差很多。

Much worse than China. In China, company have to much at least 23% of the
salary.

From my personal perspective, I often see them make extra efforts on kids
and I feel they do these often out of true caring of children. Sometimes I
myself don't have that much patience. So I guess they deserve more than what
they are earning.

also, they do not have kids older enough to get in to elementory school, so
they do not have chance to get in touch with teachers and get the impression
