Strategy Analytics.
A new study reveals that the U.S. won’t lead smartphone revenues globally
for long. Strategy Analytics claims that while the U.S. will continue to
generate the most profit from smartphones – due to “high average selling
prices for mobile phones and huge operator subsidies” – China will jump
well ahead of the U.S. on smartphone revenues [below].

Strategy Analytics claims this shift signals the maturation of the U.S.
smartphone market and also represents China’s “rapid shift to 3G and 4G
