american express 的GC好像手续费加上邮寄费最贵，visa 和mastercard好像要便宜些

其他的美国店都不经常去。

发帖数: 6612 | 7 我觉得你这种情况下，买AE不合算。AE每张卡要手续费$3.95，＞ ＄200需要UPS 邮寄
，如果为了减少卡的张数，买一张$2000的，成本约$3.95+$7.95=$11.90. 但是你用
AmEx的gift card消费，没有通常的信用卡那么好的保护，有些地方会拒绝收AmEx的
gift card。而且很多信用卡会有>= 1％的cashback。总的来说，相当于多花～$32。
如果你用来付两个月的房租，多花$41，但是不用承担使用AE的gift card的风险。
VISA 的gift card好象更麻烦一些。

visa 的GC 可以到附近的chase等支点去买，不知道手续费如何算。 mastercard的GC每
张卡要手续费$3.95，但没有运费，而且接受mastercard的地方也多，好像最划算。
discovercard每张卡要手续费$3.95，也没有运费。
另外，由于我要回国两个月，在国内要用钱，看到版上有人说discover的信用卡在国内
消费没有手续费，不知道discovery 的GC呢？ 也可以在国内消费吗？ |

发帖数: 6612 | 9 VISA的Gift card比较复杂，跟发行银行有关。有的VISA卡要求每个月花费超过一定次数，
否则收月费。

当然shipping还是要给的。

前一阵有个promotion，免了这个fee。
不过如果考虑各个网站现在1%的cashback，如果买2000刀GC，就是20块cashback，那么
这个fee和shipping就都cover了。
网上貌似没看到买VISA和Mastercard GC的地方。

cost in buying amex GC, you should do the same in calculating using BA card
to pay rent.
btw, sharemydeal offers 1.2% CB, a little bit better than FW's 1% in getting
Amex GC, so for $2000, you get $24 back, with that it's better than Visa/
Master prepaid card.
