CO的mileage会过期吗？

"Membership Rewards points have no expiration date, and when you use Pay with Points to book travel through American Express Travel, you can fly Continental and United Airlines with no blackout dates or seat restrictions, even after September 30, 2011. "
这样订机票比转points到CO mileage，哪个更加划算一点？

今年年底co和ua合并，不知道有效期是不是和 ua的一样了，ua的18个月之后过期
