2000), there is 6% tax. See:

If you have chase sapphire premier (ultimate rewards), you can buy CO miles
for 100$/10000 (but 100$ is the only availabe amount ), then trnsfer to UA,
good deal. (Transfer points->CO->choose "$100" from the drop downlist
I am just wondering why ppl here spend 1.3cents to buy ultimate reward
points.

I think 10,000 UR points get you $100 off ticket price, not that you get 10,
000 CO miles by paying $100 cash.
