to my FD management account, got UA millage without any problems.
Took me couple of calls to FD to make sure I can do so. |

From my personal point of view, this is not very attractive then, 100K with
1% rate can earn $500 interest, so the opportunity cost for this deal 50K AA
/UA point is $500. |

50K miles or 50K for 25000 miles.
Simple math tells me, if you only have $50000 to invest, then you and your
LD should both open an account, put in $25000 and get 30K miles.
Consider 1% interest rate for half year, 30K miles cost you $250. Not a bad
deal.
