这种假设可否合理？在现实中可否出现？ 如果出现的话，Michigan 会选择赢 The
Game，还是选择去玫瑰碗？

A few years ago, they chose Illinois over many other higher ranked teams

Why on earth should UMich help OSU, or any team, reaching the title game?
What good does that do us?
This is absurd.
I have twice watched a lowly-ranked UMich team knocked off an undefeated OSU
team with national title inspiration. Words cannot describe how sweet that was.

and can't tell the refs how to call the games.
So the entire point is moot.
And as far as each school is concerned, all bowl money are split 12 ways
(after travel expenses).
Even a school sitting at home gets the same share as one who plays the title game, which is not much.
So even from a business point of view, you might as well do your best to beat whoever you are playing.
