Cal and Stanford will be paired with the Oregon and Washington schools when
the Pac-10 Conference splits into six-team divisions beginning next summer,
the conference announced Thursday.
But concerns about splitting up the Northern California and Southern Califor
nia rivalries were allayed with the news that Cal and Stanford would continu
e to play USC and UCLA every season.
The divisions are only for football and are necessary for the league to hold
a lucrative football championship game.
The other division will consist of the Los Angeles and Arizona schools, alon
g with Utah and Colorado, which join the league next summer to form the Pac-
12 Conference.
Also determined: A Pac-12 football championship game will be staged starting
in December of 2011. The team with the better conference record will host. | h***o

盟的低强度赛程不是问题。要是打不出来，就又有的说了
