BATON ROUGE Two Redemptorist High School students, including a potential L
SU football recruit, were arrested today after police said they pressured a
younger girl to give them oral sex at the school.
Sgt. Don Kelly with Baton Rouge Police said 18-year-old Jeremy Hill and 18-y
ear-old Avery Tate II were both arrested today in suspicion of oral sexual b
attery.
According to Kelly, the two pressured a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex
on them in the boys locker room at Redemptorist on Dec. 7. The incident wa
s reported to police by school administrators on Jan. 4, and the two were ar
rested today.
Hill was the starting running back for Redemptorist抯 football team this pas
t semester, and was ranked one of the top 20 running backs in the nation. H
e is also an LSU recruit for next season; News 2 has been told that Tigers h
ead coach Les Miles is aware of the situation.
Mary Beth Chevalier with the Diocese of Baton Rouge said they do not comment
on matters that involve students or former students. |
