发帖数: 28835 | 1 I have been a Vol fan for longer than many on this forum have been alive. So
I just wanted to throw in a little perspective here.
I was at the game in 1982 when Majors defeated The Bear and the goal posts
were torn down (what a night). I was in New Orleans in 1985 when the Vols
crushed Miami (suck-it Jimmy Johnson). Several years later, I watched as
Majors was replaced by Fulmer.
Life goes on.
I watched Peyton Manning announce he was staying for his senior year. I was
at the Ark game in 1998 for the “Fumble” and at the “No-Sir-Ree” game
against Florida. What a year that was! I was in the Swamp in 2001 when we
ran Darth Spurrier out of town (still love ya Travis Stephens). Watched my
Vols defeat FSU in 98 for the NC (Al Wilson I’ll never forget you). A few
years later I watched as Fulmer was replaced by “The Unnamed Guy” who
torched our program on the way to USC and then get replaced by DD after only
one season.
Life goes on.
I watched Don Devoe defeat mighty KY with an undersized center named Howard
Wood who man handled Sam Bowie (if I remember correctly). I watched Dale
Ellis play in Stokely (fluid grace in motion). I then watched Devoe get
replaced by Wade Houston, Kevin O’neal, Jerry Green and Buzz Peterson.
Life goes on.
I watched as Peterson was replaced by Bruce Pearl. I was courtside when we
beat FL and Pat Summit led the cheerleaders, also waved at Peyton Manning
who was there that night. I watched as Bruce Pearl led us to a Sweet 16 and
miss a final four appearance by one point last year. I also watched his fall
from grace and probable departure this year as well.
Life goes on.
I forgot to mention one thing. I watched almost all of these great, and not
so great, events sitting next to my dad. Whether it was at Neyland, the
Swamp, Stokely, or Thomson Boling, my dad was there with me. He was a rabid
Vol fan and a great dad who loved his sons. We watched the 2008 TN KY
football game from his hospital room. We buried him in February of 2009. I
have all these wonderful memories because of him. Not a day has gone by,
since his passing, that I haven’t laughed or cried thinking about the great
times we had together.
Coaches, games, good times, and bad, come and go and although it doesn’t
seem like it sometimes, one thing I have learned in the past 3 years.

发帖数: 8892 | 11 “纲举目张”之类的话，我觉得年纪轻一点的可能很少听说，更不要说能灵活运用了。
不过看小K的行为艺术，又不像四五十岁人所为。我也比较Confuse。算了，不讨论了，
过两天又要有新版规：禁止讨论小K年龄。
