With 14 teams, you'll have to have 2 divisions of 7 teams each. You'll need
at least 10 conference games a year if each team plays other teams in its
division every year and the teams in the other division at least once every
two years on average.
A lot of people think 9 conference games a year is already too much. 10
conference games a year would get a lot of objections.

SEC的传统rivary会被割裂。现在SEC这种跨区指定对手的策略还是很不错的。

6年一个轮回。太长了吧。。这还是9场conf的情况。 8场都不知道怎么搞。

剩下12个队每年4个，这样8场。

conference record with ties broken by BCS rank) go to the conference
championship.

extend的可能性了，总不能让孩子们期末考试延期。
