The now-infamous trophy tour is back again. No Walmart this time, though.
The coaches trophy and the crystal football will be at three different chain
stores across the state this weekend.
Friday: Huntsville, Kroger at 7090 University Dr., 4-8 p.m.
Saturday: Tuscaloosa, Academy Sports and Outdoors, 710 Skyland Blvd., noon-4
p.m.
Sunday: Vestavia Hills, Publix, 784 Montgomery Hwy., 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Fans can pose with the actual trophy awarded in the Superdome last night.
The photos are free if you are willing to wait on line.
In case you wondered, the Waterford crystal football is valued at $30,000
and takes three months to produce.
