It depends on yourself, I think.
But if you take studying abroad as a goal, then you will find a lot of pain in
the future. My oppinion is, take this as a game, if you win, then you are out
here; you lose, you still had fun.
However, studying abroad will change you life totally, this is for sure. It's
the doubleside of the same life. Could be better, could be worse, could be
pathetic as well. :)

If you want to have experience studing in US, just prepare for it. Don't think
too much.
But most of people feel lonely here. It is not easy for the first several
years.
