明天graduate student sympsium，看了一下发现一半人是做CNT的。。。
然后发现今天新来了个faculty，还是做CNT的。。。 |

斤，便宜的很，趁着RMB还没升值可以叫你老板囤点
不好拿，不能明说做CNT。。。

company has a position opening and received several hundred resumes. Just
using rough screen, the company had 20 candidates for further consideration.
But the company found 18 out of 20 are working on CNT or related. The
company complained that they certainly do not want CNT people b/c they think
CNT people do not know anything becides CNT. |

industry thinks is much more important. If they think Nano people are not
good for them, then no many jobs for Nano people.

industry is really avoiding Nano. Nano related ph.Ds and postdocs are in
over supply. Unfortunately, I am also in the boat of Nano.

decade. If you are not in Harvard, MIT, and Bay Area (Stanford and Berkeley)
, and you are working in this field, it will be very difficult to land a
job in industry. I want to get out of this trap. Any one has any comment? |

focus on their skills and they must have strong record and connection (maybe
boss's). IMHO.
