a cabin close to the park, but don't know if renting among Gardiner, Cooke
City, or West Yellowstone makes any difference. If you've been to Yellow
Stone and have any info that you'd like to share with me, it will be greatly
appreciated.
BTW, besides Yellow Stone, are there any other attractions nearby that are worth a day trip?

发帖数: 3060 | 4 I have been to West Yellowstone, Gardiner, and Cooke city. the road from
West YS to yellow stone national
park is much flatter than Gardiner. West YS is closer to Old Faithful,
Yellow Stone lake and Grand Teton.
Gardiner is a very nice town. quiet and very few people. I like it a lot.
Cooke City is on the way to famous
Beartooth Scenic Highway, which is a must-see. also I think you should visit
Jackson Hole when you visit
Grand Teton.

lake solitute trail in Grand Teton. If you do not have time for Glaricer,
Grand Teton is a good choice. | N*****7

It sounds like staying in a nicer town like Gardiner may be a better choice;
furthermore, there are much more cabin rental selections in that area, and
Grand Teton, Beartooth Highway and Old Faithful are not that far no matter
where you stay.

这么说吧，Gardiner在北边，YS得北边比较高，你从北往南开，要翻过几个山，速度快
不了，
West Yellow Stone到Madison Junction那一带是沿着河，很平，可以开很快，
当然我觉得最好得方案是每个town都住住，玩南边和teton得时候住west YS,
玩monmouth hot spring和YS canyon住Gardiner, 你要去Beartooth Highway的时候就
会经过cooke city,
beartooth就是Rt.212 between cooke city and red lodge的一段。

我觉得北边Gardiner住一天就好，
West YS住两天左右，
去Grand Teton可以住Jackson Hole一天，
然后差不多了，你如果去Beartooth scenic highway,可以安排在从Gardiner去West YS
得那一天。

发帖数: 2929 | 16 Nps.gov网站上有个Link，可以连到一个非盈利的公司网站上，他们专门负责黄石里面
的cabin；hotel，预定需要预付全款，但是由于提前48hr退订可以全退款，所以很多人
很早就订上，后来不去了再退。
你可以天天打电话去问，每天总是有人退订。我和我认识的人都是这样订到的，7月4号
的cabin，我7月2号订到的。
注意hotel比较贵，cabin便宜但是较为简陋，很多没有Private bath，最好的是lake
lodge cabin，有自己的浴室，而且步行距离到湖边，很爽
