Overview:
We are seeking a junior analyst eager to develop new ways of interpreting financial data on a team that handles the main source of revenue and cost analysis for the entire company. You will be charged with finding trends and telling the story behind the numbers through different analyses, which includes: KPI reporting, monthly billing sheets, publisher cost and margin analysis, in addition to month-end revenue recognition. The work is roughly 50% ad hoc and tasks you with prioritizing multiple requests simultaneously. Your data based conclusions will be reviewed by our board members and executive team often, in order to largely impact crucial decisions regarding our company and its future success.
Qualifications:
* 1-2 years experience with a strong interest in data/numbers
* Economics, mathematics, finance and engineering majors preferred
* Experience creating PowerPoint presentations a plus
* Ability to turn complex data into creative presentations
* Focuses on accuracy and quality
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Expert-level Excel skills preferred
* SQL experience a must
* Strong communication skills
* Related industry experience a huge plus

You will support critical, strategic decision making by providing meaningful analytical reports to members of the executive team. You will also be responsible for analyzing processes in our sales and operations areas with a focus on enhanced efficiencies. The work is 80% ad hoc and tasks you with prioritizing multiple requests simultaneously. Your analyses will impact crucial decisions regarding our company and its future success. An added bonus is that you will have a big hand in helping with the development and launch of our business intelligence system.
Qualifications:
* 5-6 years experience with a strong interest in data/numbers
* Economics, mathematics, finance and engineering majors preferred
* Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
* Ability to turn complex data into creative presentations
* Focuses on accuracy and quality
