上。 保险都加了。
问题是我现在还能开旧车吗？
dealer说我还不能把transfer 的车牌挂到新车上，因为新车的真正的regstration还没
有拿到。（当然新车应该可以开，暂时性的车牌和registration好像有两三周的有效期）

Did you trade-in your old car?
If you did not trade-in and planning to keep your old car, why are you doing
a "Plate Transfer", and not getting a new plate?
As long as the old plate was still registered with your old car in
government record, there will not be a problem for sure. But once the Old
plate is registered with new car (in government record), you cannot use it
on the old car... Well... there could be a few days difference between the
dealer and the DMV record. | s*********g

you better not drive the old car any more -- because it could be in any day
that the old plate will be in the DMV (or called MVC now)official record.
You don't want to take the chance.
Also, supposedly you should already went to your auto insurance agent to
switch the car insurance to the new car. That means, the auto insurance now
covers the new car not the old car anymore.
