海滩可以开车过去。 |

发帖数: 584 | 4 1. Before Memorial day, entrance is free and parking is free.
2. In between Memorial Day and Labor Day, need to pay entrance fee. But,
after 5 PM (or 6 PM, not sure) entrance become free. Parking fee is included
in the entrance fee.
3. Along the park road, there are several beach areas. Each beach area has
its paved parking lot (plenty space).
4. When you get into the park, you can drive all the way to end (and turn
around there) to see which beach you like.
5. Not sure about driving on the beach (sand). I don't remember saw visitors
car drive on Sandy Hook beach.
6. Nowadays water still cold. there are not many visitors before Memorial
Day (that's why it is free).

I checked again. It seems, only 4WD works on sand, AWD doesn't work, or say
doesn't work well.
I don't have a 4WD. So, I give up.
