I am pleased to announce that the annual party to celebrate Mid Autumn
Festival sponsored by the Chinese Student and Scholar Association at Los
Alamos (LA_CSSA) will be held on Saturday, Sep. 17th in the First Baptist
church.
Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most significant festivals in Chinese
tradition. It's time for people to get together to miss their families and
hometowns. All the people in Los Alamos community are welcome to the party.
A dinner will be provided starting at 6:00 pm. Delicious and diverse Chinese
food including moon cakes will be ready.
We will also prepare a theatrical show (talent show) after the dinner as
past years. Let's together expect wonderful performances.
The fee for the party is $7 per person for adults, $3.5 for kids, and free
for kids under 4.
We also need volunteers who would like to help us set up the stage and
prepare the dinner. If you would like to help, please come 2~4 hours before
the dinner. It's also appreciable to contact us beforehand.
