There are a lot of daycares/preschools runned by Chinses in Flushing. Most
of them are really good, teach in bilingual language (English and Chinese).
Usualy them supply breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Some of them even
supply supper.
Both of my son and daughter used to be in Red Apple Child Development Center
, which is a good pre-school, but the price is higher than other Chinese day
cares.
Currently my son and daughter are in New Milestine pre-school for this
summer. New Milestone is good too, and the price are relatively low. For
your case, from 8:00 am to 6:30pm, Red Apple will cost at least 750$ tuition
+ 30$ early birds + 30$ late pickup fee = Total 810$/month; while New
Milestone probably will cost you 530$ tuition + 0$ early birds + 0$ late
pickup fee = Total 530$/month.
Red Apple is famous for teaching more academics (good for the older kids to
prepare for school). For your 2 year old, New Milestine should do a very
nice job. The teacher there are very nice, the atmosphere are relex, and the
environment are spacious and clean.
Red Apple have 15 schools in New York City, 2 in Flushing. I can not find
the website of it.
New Mile stine have 2 schools in New York City, 1 in Flushing, another one

There are other Chinese daycare in Flushing too, such as Kanghua, Caihong,
Xiao Boshi, etc.

I used to pay $200/week to a Chinese family care when I was in San Diego, CA
. Breakfast, lunch and supper are all included. Two women take care of 10 -
14 children.
American's daycare charges much higher, range from 1000-1600 per month and
you have to prepare food by yourself. Looks like NYC is cheaper than San
Diego?
I wish I can find some daycare/family care where they can provide food
because I don't have much time left for cooking. Flexible drop/pick-up time
is also very important to me.
BTW, do you need to drive to the daycare?
