Job description:
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the corporate finance team at
the Company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. The candidate will report
to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for compiling and
analyzing financial information across multiple business lines. The Analyst
will be intimately involved in identifying operating trends through their
analysis, contribute to both short-term and long-term financial forecasting
and planning, and assist in the preparation of financial reports used by
Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
The Financial Analyst’s job responsibilities include:
• Preparation and analysis of weekly, monthly and quarterly
financial metrics
• Monitoring and analysis of operating results and trends
• Maintenance of short-term and long-term forecasting tools (e.g.
cash flow projections, corporate budget)
• Preparation and analysis of budget vs. actual results
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Assistance with various investor relations activities
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance (or related discipline) from an
accredited university
• 2 - 4 years of experience in financial analysis (investment
banking experience a plus)
• Exceptionally bright and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
