Speakers’ Bio:
Dr. Xinfeng Zhou
Zhou, Ph.D., CFA, currently works as a quantitative analyst at
the
Internal Alpha Capture group of SAC Capital, a 5-person group that
manages a
$5B long/short book, in Stamford. Before that, he was a vice
president of
equity strategies at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He started his
career
as a research analyst at Barclays Global investors in San Francisco.
He
graduated from MIT with a graduate certificate in Financial
Technology, an
MS in Operations Research from Sloan School of Management and a Ph.D.
in
Applied Biosciences from School of Engineering.
“A Practical Guide To Quantitative Finance Interviews” covers a
variety of
topics that are frequently tested in quantitative finance interviews:
brain
teasers, calculus, linear algebra, probability, stochastic processes
and
stochastic calculus, finance and programming. It analyzes solutions
to more
than 200 real interview problems and provides valuable insights into
how to
ace quantitative interviews. The book has been widely acknowledged by
the
job hunters and recruiting managers. Since its publication in 2008,
more
than 5500 copies have been in print.
Dr. Nina(yue) Chen
Dr. Yue (Nina) Chen is a VP at Royal Bank of Canada Global Arbitrage
and
Trading group, trading North American rates. Before that, she was a
senior
analyst at Arrowhawk Capital Partners. She joined Goldman Sachs
Interest
Rates Strategies after school, before moving to Goldman Sachs Asset
Management to trade structured credit products. She graduated from MIT
with
a PhD and Tshinghua University with a BS, both in chemical engineering

Dr. Zhou 的书 很好， 再我漫长的面试过程中， 经常遇到所有面试题目都是他的书上
找来的 情况
但是这种书只对理工科的找 quant 工作 有用， 里面的一点东西对 trader 和 develo
per 也有点用
和 finance 基本无关
