queens。有没有高手说一下, 从北面(woodbury) 和西边 (edison) 回来怎么能绕过去6

If you use the Bear mountain bridge (Route 6), the toll is only $1 (take 9 down to 87
). Note: the extra gas (& time) might be more expensive.

发帖数: 6980 | 9 用gps的avoid toll功能不如自己研究一下沿途桥隧的收费情况。NJ往NY开都要收费，不知道gps会怎么指。

From Woodbury best routes either 87 -> route 17 -> route 4 -> FDR -> 59th
Street bridge (like 10 miles shorter than 87 alone) USE Google map..
Or 87-> Palisade (usually get on to the GWB much faster than route 4)
9 is local in and slow, it's for foliage only..
Don't 100% follow GPS, it sometimes tells u to U turn on highway. Use it as
a guide only.

Not sure how you get to FDR from Route 4 (GWB) without toll.
BTW, yes,it is 5-6 miles more, but normally there is much less traffic on 87 than crossing GWB. So, probably worth it.

are also few toll along 87.
there is of course a toll on the GWB, but the Palisade is very smooth most
of the time unless the jam is from the bridge. If you can carpool, that's a
lot less.
Traffic on 87 depends on the time of traveling. It's better to use the live
traffic function in the GPS or phone..

，不知道gps会怎么指。
从我家11374到woodbury，tomtom给的是midtown bridge->Washington bridge->
woodbury, 去不要钱，回来washington收钱，我ezpass是carpool plan，好像是2刀还
是3刀吧。
