situation.
I am not interested in how well trained the conductors are.

At first I thought the express train might use the rail of local train.
but that would make operation and management much more complicated.
I have the same doubt as you that the express train is single directional at
some period.
anyone can confirm this?

queensboro到时代广场，快慢车并线，3条变成2条。如果前方有车的话后车在
queensboro附近稍等一会好了。类似的并线在纽约非常多。你可以理解成单向2车道并成一条车道。
下午从时代广场出来简单很多，快慢车交替发车，1车道变成2车道。

did you see mahattan bound express in the evening?
if local train and express train use the same rail, do you think it will
improve
the efficience?
never see any express trains in beijing's subways. I guess
if local and express use the same rail, it won't increase any efficience
at all.

in the morning, manhattan bound express uses the middle rail.no other trains
use the middle rail at that time.
in the evening, queens bound express uses the middle rail. no other trains
use the middle rail at that time.
Anyone see queens bound express in the morning or manhattan bound express in
the evening?
