Parking is $9 a night (according to website). But where to park after
checkout? Will need to spend the next day visit statue of liberty etc..

shops.
It is one block from the #7 Train Main Street station. No need to get the
LIRR.
Plenty of parking in Flushing (both public & private). Also, the hotel might
allow you to keep the car there for the day - but should check with them
first.

We will probably arrive in Sat. afternoon, check in and park, then go to
downtown, come back late. Sunday morning have some yummy food in Flushing
and go downtown again. I think it might be difficult & expensive to park in
downtown,so I am considering to park the car in or close to hotel. We can
come back in early afternoon, have some food, and drive home. Is that a good
plan?

hotel is free the whole day. Just make sure you don't put anything valuable
in the car. If need to, leave the luggage with the hotel and pick it up
before you go.

地铁40分钟左右，2.25$，车较多。

you can text "Flushing Penn" to 266266 it will give you the schedule. |

发帖数: 2564 | 12 The LIRR is faster and safer, but #7 is very safe as well. On the weekend,
there is very limited schedule for LIRR vs. the subway.
Also, if you go anywhere outside of Penn Station, you would need to pay
extra to transfer to back to the subway.
