约市长的亚裔领袖。
刘醇逸可以说是最亲民的纽约市公职人员，他永远跟见面的人微笑、拥抱，而且也
不会推却别人提供的一切食品，这令他成为快速增长的亚裔美国人社区之中，最明亮的
一颗政治之星──但另一方面，由于两名相关人物被联邦刑事调查，令他的竞选之路抹
上一丝阴霾。
刘醇逸计划于今日宣布竞选市长──虽然这场被人看成是堂吉诃德式的出战，在他
的眼中，仍然觉得有可胜之机。
他在最近一次访问中坦言，「从来都不缺怀疑者和反对者；但是支持者的一直拥戴
，给予了我很大动力。」
记者在跟刘醇逸同行的一段路中，已发现这名皇后区法拉盛的民主党人手机响个不
停；而市府提供的汽车，在13个月内已经走了5万多哩路；他一边看着iPad的日程安排
，一边向助手查询下个活动时将有哪些社区领导和工作人员出席。
在所有的市长候选人中，刘醇逸可以说是最喜欢接触群众的一个。他会跟每个人握
手、细心聆听别人的话，并对拍照的要求来者不拒。在一天的活动之 中，他在施泰市(
Starrett City)的老人中心说出了意第绪语、在皇后区牙买加清真寺说出了孟加拉语、
在唐人街的餐馆说了广东话，并在布朗士的多米尼加派对上说了西班牙语。
刘醇逸笑指，由于不想表现出失礼，每天都要不停地吃东西。他在哈林出席剪彩仪
式后，到附近一间餐馆点了一些海鲜，并把桌面上的东西都统统吃清光 ──包括在车
上吃掉助手剩下的。其后在布碌仑一间老人中心的活动上，他应一名92岁老人的邀请，
留下来吃了午餐，并吃下了一些烤鸡肉和马铃薯。根据中心的 项目总监说，刘醇逸是
第一个在这里吃午饭的市长候选人。
而即使在路上，他都面对形形式式的问题，而且总有一丝阴霾──他的2名相关人
士，包括前财务主管，由于联邦调查欺诈指控将于4月15日受审。而他的前新闻秘书─
─作为团队中重要一员，也被勒令为控方作证。
虽然46岁的刘醇逸没有被指控任何不当行为，但在法庭文件中显示，检察官也对他
的行为提出质疑。
而刘醇逸最近对于当局的调查表示忿怒，在市长论坛上，他要求检察官要么采行动
、要么闭嘴，因为他要忙着去赢得今次竞选。
此外，他也表示对亚裔和非裔美国人所受的阴谋或偏见有切身体会，因为自己也是
受害者之一。他说，「很显然，有东西正在推动这个所谓的调查。」
事实上，刘醇逸在辩论中表现强劲，他是唯一的呼吁终止警方截停搜身的候选人，
并提出把最低时薪增加至11.5元，比总统奥巴马提出的9元还要更高。此外，他也严厉
批评市长彭博的脾气暴躁。
刘醇逸在竞选演说中提出，要根除浪费性支出，并促进政府透明度。而在多个活动
之中，也可见他对市长之位信心满满。 |

Jews in New York is the biggest Jew community outside Israel, it's not a
surprise that Jewish New Year has become one of the city's official holidays
. But not in Washington DC, not in Boston, not in San Francisco. Hanukkah is
a New York City thing, just like pizzas and gyros. Each ethnic group has
their own unique holidays, so shall we take some-100 days off a year for
accommodating different cultures?
A mayor is not able to make any holiday official as he/she wants, it's not a
a dictatorship. Even if he is able, he's not going to because it doesn't
help his political career.

corporation in NYC don't have them.
The major reason for the school to have them is that too many NYC teachers
are Jewish and the school more or less need to close with so many teachers

法拉盛，chinatown选出来的各级city council, state assembly, senate,到congress
的民意代表，有华人票仓支持，哪一个反AA是政治自杀？ 无非是得罪黑人犹太人，没
办法在DEM党内向上爬而已。
这些华人政客，都是同一副嘴脸，对内就喊团结，支持外国人不如支持华人，对外就一
