子的事，现在的情况是这样，我妈和婆婆都已经在两年内申请过两次B2签证了，我妈一
共在这边呆了不超过3个月，婆婆时间比较久，这一次的B2签证一共呆了小半年（五个
月），她现在人在这边帮我们带新生儿，今年九月中旬B2签证过期，打算在签证到期前
两天回国重新申请B2签再过来。这期间我得上班，要把四个月的孩子送出去想想都难受。
我的问题是像她这种情况会不会有被拒签的可能呢？都说邀请函不要写给儿女带孩子，
那写什么才好呢？我妈工作原因过不来，只能辛苦婆婆了，对B2签证十分不了解，请有
经验的姐妹给说说，十分感谢。 | l***y

For your case, I suggest that she applies for extension. I feel if she goes
back and reapply for a new visa right away, the chance of being denied is
too high.
For extension, there is the possibility of being denied. But once you submit
the extension application, you are allowed to stay until the result comes
out. If denied, they will give you 30 days to leave. Never never say she
wants to stay longer to take care of your baby! Just say she has not spent
enough time for traveling etc., better have some travel plan for her to show
as proof (such as ticket for traveling within US). Nothing is guaranteed...
Sending a baby to daycare is hard even if the daycare is good. I did it for
mine, 1 at 10 months, 1 at 5 months. They get sick too often...

发帖数: 630 | 5 I know many cases that the parents had no trouble getting visa again with a
history of extension. But generally speaking for B2 visa, you should stay
in China longer than US. Which means if you file for extension and stay for
1 year in total, you need to stay in China for a year before applying for
visa again.
I have heard of both 3-month or 6-month extension.
