521 SFHs for sale with 3 bed+ in Dublin, of which 93 homes are in
foreclosure (17.8%) and and 108 homes are new constructions.
In UA, there are 114 SFHs for sale, with only 2 homes in foreclosure (1.7%)
and 4 new constructions.
The difference is pretty obvious. With the huge inventory on the market,
Dublin somehow is still building new homes, which is detrimental to keeping
values of existing homes. As a result, you are seeing a much higher
foreclosure rate.
In these days, if you can't keep the value of your home, what is the point
of living in a newer and bigger home? Correct me if I'm wrong. | u*******l

all old and way more expensive. I didn't see any one with good years is
affordable.
Also I haven't taken a close look of school zone.
But I agree, the house price in UP dosen't drop a S***...sigh
or we are not in the same class...hehe, you can afford half million 50+yrs
house? :)

有钱，那边还是很不错，环境，学区都很好。。

appreciation is from the land instead of the dwelling. This is why the
properties in UA hold up relatively well. In areas where open lots are
available and new homes are being built, the appreciation of home value will
be limited. It is ECON 101: supply and demand... |
