小意大利近,但是房子太老,冬冷夏热
montlack的fairhill apartment条件一般,租金便宜,开车五分钟;
beachwood的hampton条件不错,但是要开半个小时的车;
salon也太远了,至少45分钟啊......... |

另外就是问一下学校的staff停车牌大概多少钱啊？方便停车么？如果不是特别贵，住
远一点也没有关系。
不太熟悉cleveland，好像网上查到的大多都是几栋房子出租或者就是一栋独立房子出
租的，比较少见那种apartment community。您知道哪里有一些比较好的推荐么？谢谢

You can search on google. Overlook road is relatively quiet, while Cedar
road has a lot of traffic.
School staff may have a waitlist for parking space, 80/month....
Most apartments won't sign a lease with you until you show up in person,
check the place, and pay deposit check. If you have school year kids,
Hampton in beachwood is good, if you do not, you should have many choices...

有邻居水槽漏水报修了一个星期公寓都不来修。他们停车场经常不铲雪，每次下雪都有
车陷在雪里进不去停车场。而且他们curb不插标记，上次大雪curb被雪盖住了，有个车
一脚油前轮开到草坪里托底把底盘硌坏了。
今天室内只有62F，不打电话去吵他们是不会供暖的。

开车上下学的。租房beachwood/woodmere那边是首选，走shaker blvd交通方便红绿灯
少不怎么堵车，治安好，离超市近。
cedar和mayfield红绿灯太多了。

发帖数: 102 | 7 谢谢！ 想问一下学校的parking permit大概需要怎么申请呢？如果要排期才能拿到，
那刚开始就没有办法住在比较远的地方了。
孩子还小才两岁，上preschool应该不用考虑学区的问题。请问有什么推荐么？看了一
下Hampton，貌似在cleveland属于偏贵的房子了。
我会去Overlook上面好好看看。谢谢！

公寓一定要亲自住过才好推荐。不扫雪啦，洗衣机响的像飞机起飞啦这种事不亲自体验
过是不会知道的。。
对了克村bedbug流行，多个心眼注意下。

School of Medicine (Wood Building) on average traffic. |

发帖数: 1350 | 12 I would not recommend Woodmere -- traffic of Chagrin Blvd at I-271 would be
a headache during rush hours, and note Chagrin Blvd in the Woodmere region
is a one-lane road.
I have no experience in Beachwood or Shaker Heights apartments, but I would
suggest thinking of any apartments along Fairmount Blvd if you prefer to
stick with that area. I know some Chinese students have lived in Shaker
apartments like Montlack, but now that somebody referred to some unhappy
experience with Montlack, maybe that's not a good choice.
I would also suggest considering apartments in Cleveland Heights -- not
Overlook around but further east. There are some big apartments on Euclid
Heights Blvd (on the right side) before you get to Coventry Rd when heading
east. |

personal feeling is that none of the Shaker Heights apartments is car
friendly, especially on parking space and availability. One of the biggest
advantages of living in Shaker Heights is its diversity in terms of
ethnicity and culture, if you think you and your family can seriously enjoy
that. |
