Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
· C# .Net programming;
· Design, develop, and maintain mission critical, internal, and external
web-based applications;
· Work closely with Database Administration team to develop solutions for
both business and technical problems;
· Business analysis, requirements gathering, and communication with subject
matter experts;
· Help maintain software development standards;
· Develop test plans, both manual and automated;
· Work with the end users to help them understand the application and how
they will interact with the system once it is released;
· Create help documents and user manuals for all new or enhanced features;
· Work with configuration manager to ensure successful code promotion and
versioning standards are being met
Essential Qualifications
· Four years of information technology experience such as programming,
analyzing, designing, consulting, installing and/or maintaining computer
software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network
infrastructure equipment, directing projects, providing customer or
technical support in information technology; or administering or supervising
staff that performed work in any of these information technology
disciplines.
· Experience developing Microsoft Silverlight applications with a strong
understanding of design patterns
· Experience using Entity Framework, strongly typed data and datasets,
using LINQ;
· Experience using MVC;
· Experience developing and deploying WCF services;
· Demonstrated knowledge and a minimum of 4+ years programming with the
Microsoft .NET framework version (1.1 through 4.0) using C# and ASP.NET;
· Applied Object Oriented principles and methodologies;
· Design and development of cross-browser compatible web-based solutions;
· Thorough and in-depth knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems
(RDBMS) and SQL programming skills;
· Demonstrated knowledge and with a minimum of 4 years programming
experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008, including writing complex stored
procedures and T-SQL queries and utilizing SSIS/DTS and SQL Server agent to
automate daily routines.
Desired Qualifications
DEL is most interested in candidates who meet or exceed the following
criteria:
· Experience using a custom .NET development framework to develop reusable
business and data access objects.
· Previous experience with large databases highly preferred.
· Strong background in software development life cycle and structured
methodologies using documented processes and coding standards.
· Experience using Internet Information Server and Reporting Services. |
