每天traffic真是恐怖啊。

还比较新？
房子有升值的空间吗？
房价会不会继续跌？
不知道是住在Portland 好还是Vancouver 好。
本人不喜欢太冷清的地方。一月就要搬到Portland了，对这个城市还是一无所知。

马过独木桥。幸亏桥比较结实。 |

school - one of the best in town,PTA has lot of money to fund after-school programs and compensate state budget cut
house - too may good houses with nice view
commute - 10 minutes to every where: pdx downtown,etc. |

，这儿有钱银都住rural area。建议portland downtown一日游，尤其82街chinatown附
近多走走，我就不信你还希望往城里住。

公司在Camas， 住在Portland才又没有消费税， 有省了 state income tax 吧？

波特兰本来也不是大城市
如果你觉得波特兰是大城市而且又喜欢住热闹的地方就住在波特兰down town好了。
可以上私校什么的。
要说方便的话当然是住离工作近的地方比较方便，反正周末也可以过河来玩儿，挺方便
的。camas学区听说也不错。

发帖数: 12430 | 23 Portland Southeast那边中国人挺多的, SE 82nd 都是中国人.
然后就是Beaverton northwest那边. beaverton就离你上班太远了,当然了你从弯曲过
来也许习惯了每天两个小时的commute那这点距离就不算什么了. SE那边多数是老一辈
的移民,许多cantonese. 不过好一点的馆子什么的那里多许多. 买菜也方便许多. 好像
没有什么好学校, 不过 again, 上私校好了.
shopping mall吗, downtown有, beaverton有,SE 也有, vancourver也有. outlet 市
中心没有, 要开个30-45分钟去woodburn.
你也可以搬过来先apt住着,看看情况,摸摸底, 看怎么方便,喜欢哪里再决定买房子.
毕竟我们说再多最终还是你自己的 life.

Oregon买东西比Vancouver和Camas便宜一些呀。看来住在Washington那边，shopping在
Oregon那边，可以省很多呢，很期待的呀。 |
