发帖数: 1432 | 4 hoho, BASE还早呢. 那个起码要500+ jumps才能开始考虑吧.
现在赶兴趣的是RW（relative work, 团体造型)和 Freefly. 不过RW现在也只跳过几次2-way, 5-way(其他4个都是coach, hehe). Freefly也是刚刚开始, backfly都还不是很稳. I still have a looooong way to go.
以后也许会试试wingsuit. 就如头像上那样, wingsuit + freefly. 不过这个照样也得要500+, another long way to go.

airspeed上来，就得开伞了. 大概要1000ft左右的高度来加速到terminal-velocity吧,
但从飞机上刚跳出去就有足够的airspeed.
现在相当pioneer的是wingsuit landing, 不开伞降落, 不知道试验的那些人成功没有.

发帖数: 1432 | 8 Although lots of skydivers talk about BASE jump, only very very very few are doing it. It's way too dangerous.
No reserve, super low pull, sub-terminal open, limited airspace for canopy flight, narrow crowded landing area. All of these, plus many others, are big threats and all violate the Basic Safety Requirements of skydiving.

One of my friend is going to get skydiving license this summer. He said it
will take him around $3k

I spent a little bit less than that in actual jumps, including gear rental,
but a little bit more if count the wind tunnel expense.

first get a feeling of ski/snowboard. Skydiving is the same, actually, it's
much more fun.
USPA对开始wingsuit jump练习的官方要求是 (SIM section 6-9.C)
Have a minimum of 500 freefall skydives; or a minimum of 200 freefall
skydives, made within the past 18 months.
USPA对BASE没有官方regulation. SIM中根本没提到BASE. 也许因为BASE不用飞机,而且
是小众里的小小众,所以USPA就不打算管了. 什么状态下跳,就看自己怎么觉得了.
