the most basic functions. My only complain is that the reception is not good
under even not very closed forest canopy. Same thing happened when I'm
near a cliff, or even in a cloudy day sometimes. However, since I work in
the desert this is not a problem at all. I.e. if you mainly hike in place
like SoCal you'll be fine.
Just be aware of this and you'll be fine. In my opinion, GPS is only a
backup. You've got to have good
