Oregon.
We will do downhill skiing at Mt.Bachelor ski resort (3 days+), and do rock
climbing at Smith Rock (2 days+). Probably we will also do backcountry
skiing.
If you are interested in skiing and/or rock climbing, you are welcome to

live near a good climbing area to get really good. Too bad that RRG is 12-
hrs drive round-trip: not unbearable but hold you back from going more than
once a month. Plus the crack in RRG is not as good as its world-class steep
sports climbs.
I would say Smith Rock is my second favorite sports climbing area. I only
did one 5.7 trad there last time. Will try more next time, esp the Lower
Gorge if I can get a rope gun :)

btw: more than 2ft snow was dumped in the past 72 hours, and it is still
snowing on the mountain. Ski resort here will open this Wednesday, I will
enjoy my first inbound ski for this season next weekend

We are going to rent a vacation home, estimately $30/person/day. We will
cook breakfast and diner (not sure the cost yet)
For rock climbing, you pay nothing. For downhill skiing, you pay for your
own lift ticket (estimately $50/person/day).
You figure out your own airfare.

to Mexico or Thailand and clipping bolts in the sun. I'm going to apply for
the five-year multi-entry Mexican visa when I go back to China next time so
