Cirrus7 Nimbus fanless, Linux-friendly PC has a heatsink for a case
PC maker Cirrus7 plans to ship a new fanless desktop computer by the end of
June. It’s called the Nimbus, and it looks more like a heatsink than a PC,
because that’s basically what the entire case is. Each piece of the case is
a layer of laser-cut aluminum designed to dissipate heat from the processor
and other components without…

Lilbits (5-28-2013): Acer Bulgari tablet with Retina-like display?
Higher-than-1080p displays are becoming almost commonplace in Android and

display, an Intel Haswell processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB…

In-app payments coming soon to Google Chrome
Google Chrome may be one of the most popular web browsers in the world. But
Google is working hard to make it into more than that. You can buy a
Chromebook or Chromebox that runs the Chrome operating system (built around
the web browser). And you can use the Chrome Web Store to install apps,
whether you’re using Chrome OS,…

Did a Google Nexus 7 with Android 4.3 just get Bluetooth certification?
There’s more evidence that Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean could be coming
soon… as well as an updated version of the Google Nexus 7 tablet. While
Google hasn’t yet announced either product yet, a Nexus 4 smartphone
running Android 4.3 showed up in Thailand last week, and a new version of
the Nexus 7 tablet made a brief appearance in…

Deals of the Day (5-28-2013)
Remember when tablets sold for $499 and up? I mean sure, you can still find
plenty of tablets in that price range, but now that Android and iOS tablets
have been on the market for a few years, you can often find deals that are
much, much lower… especially if you’re willing to look at refurbished
devices. All4Cellular often has…

Intel quietly introduces 3 new low-power chips (N2805, N2810, N2910)
Intel is releasing three new ultra-low-voltage (ULV) chips. The company
issued a new price list this week, and it includes the previously

which seem to straddle the line between an Intel Atom and Intel Celeron chip
. The new chips are named like Atom processors, but they’re being marketed
as part…
