发帖数: 957 | 2 • The Senior Developer is responsible for the development and imp
lementation of enterprise solutions that align with user business needs.
Prima ry duties will include, developing BI solutions using SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
, MDX, T-SQL procedures, query per formance tunnings, database development,
imple mentation, and support of data ware houses, and underlying data models
• In-depth knowledge of various SQL Server 2005 & 08 versions.
• Define and enforce stan dards and conventions (definition, naming,
abbreviation etc). Manage Data Dictionary / Metadata.
• 8+ years of database dev elopment experience in SQL environment.
Strong SQL & TSQL is a must.
• Candidate should have exp erience in full life cycle (SDLC) of Data
Warehouse - design and implementation.
• Ability to analyze busines s requirements and ensure all
requirements are appropriately addressed by the proposed solution is a must.
• Must be analytical, solutio n-oriented, and possess excellent
trouble shooting and time-management skills
• Experience with Data Extract ion, Transformation and Loading using
ETL tools like SSIS, In-depth knowledge o f industry standard ETL and BI
tools.
• Demonstrated experience using d ata-modeling tools (Erwin preferred)
.
• Possess the ability to work in a t eam environment and communicate
effectively and implement complex bus iness logic and functionality in the
database through the appropriate use of database objects.
• Responsibility will also include sup porting all data models for
production, test and development databases and abil ity to work with
application developers and database end-users to resolving database related
problems.
• Excellent communication, documentat ion, and presentation skills are
required.
• Prior experience with one of the following domain is desired:
Capital markets / insurance / Acutuar ial Science
> Must have 8 + years of SQL Server developement experience
> Must have 5 + years of SQL Server BI tools Experience
> Must have 5 + years of dataw arehouse, Modeling and ETL experience
> Oracle experience desirable |
