will play independently and won't cooperate with others. Right now he can
count to 20 and write 39 of 52 capital and low cases letters and know 26
letters sounds. But his teacher said he can't write idea by pictures. It
means he needs to draw a picture and write two or three words to say what he
draw. These words are not required to be spelled in right way but just
phonics. But my son just started to learn letter sound six weeks and might
have no idea to how to spell words out. I don't know how to explain to his
teacher and even is suspicious if all other kids did what she required.
My son is happy everyday and he wants to go to school everyone. He wants to
play with our neighbor children everyday. Autism is definitely ruled out. To
my son, I just think he is kind of person that easily give up and like
saying I don't know. For example, he can count to 20. But his teacher let
him count blocks and sometimes he said I can't.
Friends, please give me some suggestions. I want to know more about thie
response to intervention program. Any ideas I'll appreciate from my heart.
He is my first baby. I just wish my son is happy and healty. Thanks a lot.
One reason I worry is that I have a co-worker, his son has 多动症, and they 心疼 a lot, because other kids laugh at him and don't play nicely with him. If my son gets into the program, the kids may isolate him and play him, sign.

Not childs. children.
As to your question, it is not a bad thing to let a child undergo early invention. Extra training for a child is usually beneficial to his or her development.

if you have time, early intervention is really good for your boy.

Thanks a lot everyone.
Sorry I didn't say it clearly. My son can follow other people's orders
without any problem. His English is weak, and may don't understand what the
teacher is saying. Then he will give up, just choose to stay on his seat.
However, I do think in some areas, he is a little slower than othe kids at
his age. For example, both Chinese and English are not good enough. He can
say sentences, describe what he did in school everyday, but not as fluently
as others.
What I really concerned is about this program, will this make him get
labeled, nad later get isolated. so I try to know more about this program.
We already will pay more attention and study with him more everyday after
school.

I heard all good things about this program. they come to your home playing
with your kid a few hours one on one or two on one. lots of language
stimulations. but not everyone will be accepted into the program after
lengthy applications and tests.

5 and a half. Actually my son went to Montessori before K. His teachers
there never said anything he is not normal. I do think he is a little slower
in both chinese and english though.
