In my case, we can barely make the $5000 this year b/c the elder kid is
still in private Pre-K class for the first 4 months till the younger one is
born. And starting from fall she will go to private after-school. The
tuition of first 4 months and the afterschool will add up to almost $5000.
I just think the regulation does not care about the new moms and feel angry
to the legislation. |

1st 6 weeks when the new mother claims short-term disbility, in the states
where maternity leave can be considered as short-term disability. The later
weeks used as FMLA - typically 6 weeks and in my case I plan for 10 weeks -
are not qualified to FSA b/c the purpose of FSA is to make sure the parents
hence can work. That is the reason I think the regulation cold and anti-
humanity. |
